Vital elements in health – an intro

Looking at Some Career Options November 16, 2016

I have started to think long and hard about what I am going to do for a career. Right now I am only a sophomore in high school and so I have plenty of time. There are a lot of options obviously, but I am going to exclude the things that are way too hard or take way too long to achieve. For example if you want to be a doctor, then that is going to cost a small fortune and take around seven years. There is no guarantee you make it either. The technician who does dermatology laser treatments is probably going to be able to get his degree in half as long, without going really deep in debt. I wonder if you even have to go to school for the full four years if you want to do something like that. It seems like they could give that sort of thing to you in two years if they only focused on the stuff that you really needed to know.

Of course that is something where there are all kinds of jobs which are going to pay well and be reliable. No matter what else health related jobs are going to be steady. People are always going to want to get sick and they are always going to want to get better. There are countless types of jobs, like for example the person who sits in the reception desk and deals with the patients who come into the waiting room. That is the last sort of job that I would want. Dealing with the people who come in the office would not be too big of a deal for me, but most of all those people deal in an endless paper shuffle. In fact the paper work is a real hazard to the patient if you mess it up.
